About Sandy
Sandy Mollett (she/her) is a sought-after keynote speaker, culture coach, consultant, thought leader, community activist and corporate executive. She serves as a voice and a champion for diversity, inclusion and workplace equity and equality.
Sandy is an experienced Executive with over 36 years of corporate, startup and nonprofit experience in Program Management, Product Development, Business Development, Strategic Planning, Operations and Controls. She is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and a Certified Diversity Sourcing Professional (CDSP).
Sandy is the Founder of Equal Footing LLC, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion consulting organization. Equal Footing LLC is a certified LGBTQ business enterprise that advocates for safe, diverse and inclusive communities and work environments where EVERYONE can thrive, grow and be themselves.
She previously served as Chief Engagement and Operating Officer of Inclusivv (formerly Civic Dinners). Engagement content and platform designed to provide companies of all sizes, universities, nonprofits and communities with the technology and curriculum to facilitate structured conversations, where every voice is valued.
Sandy also served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at True Diversity. True Diversity worked exclusively with companies that are authentically invested in creating inclusive workplaces and transforming the way those companies attract, engage, and hire diverse talent.
Prior to Equal Footing LLC, Inclusivv and True Diversity, she served as Senior Vice President – Head of Operations and Controls for First Data (now Fiserv) where she led some of the company’s largest strategic programs, led initiatives to improve operational productivity and efficiency and managed the operations and business controls team.
While at First Data, Sandy served as an advocate, a voice, and a champion for diversity, inclusion and workplace equality. As an advocate, a voice, and a champion for diversity, inclusion, and workplace equality she founded and co-chaired First Data’s Atlanta Diversity and Cultural Council (Employee Resource Group (ERG) Steering Committee). She was instrumental in developing and sponsoring their corporate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) -- with a goal of empowering employees, creating a culture of belonging, developing future leaders, establishing more diverse and inclusive recruiting, improving employee retention, improving employee engagement/productivity, enabling cross-functional teamwork, connecting/supporting business objectives and expanding community and market reach. She also supported a team responsible for revising corporate policies and benefits that included anti-discrimination, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation and life/gender affirming benefits.
Sandy currently serves on the Mayor’s Women of Atlanta Advisory Board. She served as President of the OUT Georgia Business Alliance (formerly known as the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC)) from 2018 to 2019, the City of Atlanta LGBTQ Advisory Board from 2019 to 2023, the Georgia Equality Board of Directors from 2019 to 2023 and the Out Front Theatre Company Board of Directors from 2021 to 2023, United Way of Greater Georgia (2020 – 2022) and Discover DeKalb Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (2019 – 2022).
Her coming out (at work) story was published in the Atlanta Business Chronicle/2016 Pride Edition. She has received the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Diversity Leadership Award and the Atlanta Business Chronicle - “Women Who Mean Business” award. She was recognized by the Georgia Diversity Council - "Most Powerful & Influential Women" and named as one of 2020's Most Influential LGBTQ+ Georgians by the OUT Georgia Business Alliance.
Sandy lives in Decatur, Georgia with her wife (Jennifer) and their dog (Luke Adele Skywalker).
